Why upgrade to Mantis ignition coils?

A dependable spark matters when your engine is working hard. Mantis uses a neodymium magnetic core and precision-wound copper windings to support consistent ignition under load.

12% more spark energy

Mantis states that its coils deliver 12% more spark energy than standard OE coils, helping maintain reliable firing under load.

Smoother running engine

A stronger, consistent spark supports smooth running and easier starting. Replacing a weak coil can help restore reliable ignition when the coil is the cause.

Simple OE replacement

On confirmed direct-fit applications, Mantis coils replace the matching original part without coding or an ECU remap. Engine conversions require separate compatibility checks.

Choosing the right Mantis coil

Check the product's vehicle application, engine code, build date and original coil part number. Different engines within the same model range can require different coils. If you need help, contact sales@potn.co.uk with your vehicle and coil details.

Are the coils sold individually?

Yes. Each ignition-coil price is for one coil. The number listed as required per engine is not the pack quantity; order the quantity you need.

Standard or tuned engines?

Mantis coils are intended for compatible standard and modified applications. Remapped and boosted engines place greater demands on ignition, making consistent spark delivery particularly useful. Replacing coils will not resolve faults caused by plugs, injectors or wiring, so diagnose a misfire before ordering.
