WHY REMUS?

Sound, design and engineering.

REMUS brings experience from its aftermarket, OEM and motorsport work to a range built around vehicle-specific exhaust applications.

01 / SOUND

A soundtrack with character

REMUS develops its sport exhaust range around sound as well as flow. Compare resonated, non-resonated and valve-equipped options where offered; the result depends on the full vehicle and exhaust setup.

02 / ENGINEERING

Austrian engineering expertise

The brand describes Austrian design expertise alongside engineering, prototyping and vehicle testing. Construction and performance figures should be checked for the exact product you are considering.

03 / FINISH

Choose the look of your setup

Selected ranges offer different tailpipe shapes, finishes and materials. Use the listed package combinations: a tailpipe set or adaptor is not automatically a complete exhaust system.

UNDERSTAND YOUR OPTIONS

Build the right combination.

Similar names can describe different parts of an exhaust. Start with the system type, then check the components and finishing options it needs.

REAR SECTION

Axle-back

Focuses on the rear section of the exhaust. Check the specified connecting tubes, valve arrangement, outlet position and whether tailpipes are included.

MORE OF THE SYSTEM

Cat-back

Extends farther forward than an axle-back setup. Use the catalogue's complete part combination and confirm the connection point and application-specific fitting requirements.

FILTER-SPECIFIC FITMENT

GPF / OPF-back

Designed around the listed petrol-particulate-filter application. Check production dates and whether the vehicle has a GPF/OPF before comparing configurations.

THE FINISHING DETAILS

Tailpipes & adaptors

Some systems need a separately selected tailpipe set and adaptors. Check quantities, dimensions and compatibility with the exhaust and rear diffuser.

A BETTER FIT STARTS WITH THE DETAILS

Four checks before you order.

  1. Exact vehicleConfirm production month, body style, engine and any sport-bumper or diffuser requirements.
  2. Complete combinationCheck every pipe, silencer, adaptor, valve component and tailpipe needed for the selected package.
  3. Approval and intended useCheck the certificate for the exact system and vehicle. Racing options are identified for further approval checks.
  4. Fitting requirementsRead the cutting, mounting, actuator and control-system notes before arranging installation.

YOUR QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

Know what you are choosing.

Why does one product have so many configurations?

A range can include different tailpipes, connection sections, adaptors or valve arrangements. The finder links to the product range so you can compare and select the exact combination. Not every option necessarily suits every engine or production date in a shared application group.

Does “without tailpipes” mean the system is incomplete?

It means the listed exhaust component excludes the tailpipe set. The catalogue may specify a choice of matching tips, use of original outlets or extra adaptors. Follow the package description rather than assuming everything pictured is included.

Are all REMUS options road-approved?

Approval is specific to the product combination and vehicle application. The guide distinguishes EC-approved components from items marked RACING or No EC type approval. Those descriptions must not be treated as approval for every assembled configuration. Ask POTN to check the exact setup before ordering.

Will the exhaust use my original valve actuators?

That depends on the system. Some catalogue entries reuse the original actuators, while others specify supplied actuators, vacuum control or a separate controller. Read the individual fitting notes and confirm what is included.
